From the time your job first arrives at AEM, until the time that it ships out, critical attention is paid to every single detail in order to fully insure outstanding quality.

When jobs are first received at AEM they are opened and inspected by the Chief Inspector. The Chief Inspector compares the part to enclosed shipping documents to insure that the part and the purchase order coincide. After a preliminary inspection of the part, the office staff's computer generates a Work Order and Teardown Inspection report, which includes critical tracking information such as part number and purchase order number. The company computer system has the ability to keep track of the flow of all items as they progress in the work shops. After Work Orders are created, the Chief Inspector engraves our Work Order number on the part with an electric pencil and attaches a Work Order tag.

Once marked, parts enter our machine shop for inspection of tolerances such as bearing journal diameter, stator iron diameter, etc. The parts are then distributed depending mainly on the required repair process for that particular part. All items are always vacuum impregnated in one of our varnish tanks and baked in ovens to insure the highest quality repair or rewind. Every technician who comes in contact with a part signs the Work Order and Teardown inspection report in a space that indicates what work has been done. Departmental Leaders inspect others work to insure quality and make regular notes in the company computer system to indicate progress of repairs.

Once the repair or rewind is complete, the part is subject to and exhaustive final inspection by the Chief Inspector. The Chief Inspector has every part's technical data at his fingertips via a computer terminal at the final test bench. The Chief Inspector tests parts in accordance with rigid internal data which in most cases exceeds the requirements of the original equipment manufacturer. Once tested, the part is packed using our state of the art "foam in place" packaging system to insure that the parts always arrive at the customer's facility in perfect condition. Customers are never charged for ground freight or 2nd day air freight charges for shipments anywhere within the United States.
